It's something that should not be so difficult to find, given the ratio of dogs to people. All the stores usually sell are toy houses for toy pets. Then they want to charge you exorbitant prices for something that’s usually imported and looks like it would melt in the sun or blow away in the wind. What happened to the Traditional Timber Dog House? Well good news, it’s now online easy to find and can be brought to you.

Our QUALITY OUTDOOR dog kennels are not only the most attractive on the market, but the most unique. All Animal Abode dog houses are WEATHER RESISTANT where painting is not essential, having been made with a Special CLEAR TREATMENT against rot, termites and other pesties. Also unique to Animal Abode, is that all timbers are of very high quality (not your average kennel, fencing or furniture timber) having been KILN DRIED before treatment, which reduces shrinkage, splitting and movement after assembly. Another surprisingly unique quality (setting us aside from the rest), is that we actually GLUE PERMANENT JOINS and use GALVANISED SCREW & NAIL FIXINGS (not furniture pins), thus aiding in the prevention of rust or corrosion. Also for a distinctive touch, with every kennel purchase we engrave your dogs name, FREE of charge , onto their very own PERSONALISED NAMEPLATE.

'OUTDOOR Timber Dog Kennel/House - SAFER Clear Treatment'
Quality built to provide your furry friend/s with a lasting, warm and dry retreat in rainy weather and a cool and shady spot in summer. The Canine Kennel, a sturdy solid timber dog kennel comes in a variety of attractive designs shapes & sizes to suit most breeds.
For South East Qld customers, the Canine Kennel can be ordered either in Flatpack Form or Fully Assembled and ready to use. You are most welcome to view your kennel and pick it up from our workshop (sml, med or lge flatpack will fit into many sedans), though we do offer a delivery service (from $40) to most Sth East Qld areas.
For Interstate customers, the Canine Kennel must be ordered in Packaged Flatpack Form when freighted by courier. To significantly save on transport costs your kennel comes packaged, as six easy to assemble panels complete with Step by Step Picture Instructions. Using the fixings (supplied) and a phillips head screw driver (not supplied), your pet's new house can be assembled with ease.
Please note: Although this kennel range has rot & termite resistant properties and does not require further treatment to last well, painting/staining or sealing is still of benefit as it will additionally help to preserve appearance and prolong its life.

'Canine Kennel with extra's or Design your own'
Available to all States. With our 'Custom Built' dog houses or 'Design Your Own' options, we give you the freedom to either modify a dog kennel (custom built) from our existing Canine Kennel Collection or to 'design your own' one of a kind kennel . Interstate customers keep in mind that your pets house need be designed with flatpack capabilities, to keep freighting nearer an affordable rate.
Upon request we will build Veranda's, Double Entries, Monster Kennels, Cedar Kennels all built in a structural manner, not just added on, but rather incorporated into the body and structural design of the kennel ie. continued roof and/or floorline. The sky and/or your budget are the only limit, when it comes to what we can build for your furry friends.
Please note: Custom built & Customer Designed dog kennel quotes, are usually always higher priced than our standard kennel ranges, given the extra time involved in discussion, planning & manufacturing. To help save your time we have a Self Quote Table below, this has many commonly requested extras and should give you an idea as to the potential costs involved.
